I specialize in difference.
You understand that books are about both the writer and the reader.
You understand the responsibility writers have as they put ideas and words out into the universe. You’re not intersted in compromising your ultimate vision, but you understand that your words affect others and you care about
Difference as in mixing, multiplicity, the crossing of borders, and the complexity of identity.
Because people are exhausted. On the one hand, from talk of diversity that only amounts to politically correct lip service. On the other, trying to painstakingly navigate a world where it’s increasingly easy to alienate and difficult to “get it right.”
